AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people 55 and better. We partner with 60+ non-profits in Northern Cook and DuPage counties to connect you with volunteer opportunities to:
- Help others become safer, stronger and healthy
- Make a positive difference in your community
- Meet new friends and enjoy new activities

Our partners are public agencies, schools, hospitals, senior centers and other non-profit organizations that benefit the community. RSVP volunteers choose how, where, and how often they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours to 40 hours per week. Click below to see the current volunteer opportunities available.
Engage economically disadvantaged students in K-12 schools through programs like Pen Pals, and in-school and after school tutoring.
Assist seniors and disabled persons to maintain their independence and successfully age-in place.
Help economically disadvantaged individuals receive literacy training as well as maintain safe, healthy affordable housing.
