District 214 Education Foundation

http://www.d214.org/foundation/

The District 214 Education Foundation is a nonprofit arm of High School District 214 supporting innovation, student success and lifelong learning beyond our normal operating budget. The District 214 Education Foundation replaced the former Community Education Foundation, presenting the first formal 501(c)(3) opportunity to support big-picture student and lifelong learner needs across the District. Contributions have been used to provide programming to students who will become the first in their family to attend college; fund Advanced Placement tests for students who cannot afford them; bolster the business dreams of standout entrepreneurial students; award scholarships to seniors demonstrating college and career readiness; and the potential to additionally impact integral Community Education programming like adult and family literacy and the Catherine M. Lee Women's and Children's Center, which impacts generations through education.
