Thanksgiving Basket Outreach Program
Palatine Township's Thanksgiving Basket program helps needy families by providing them with all of the ingredients needed to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Basket donations need to be dropped off to the Township Office between Thursday, November 12 and Thursday, November 19, 2020.
Suggest basket contents can include: canned vegetables, chicken broth, coffee, tea or hot chocolate, cranberry sauce, cream of mushroom soup, cake or brownie mix, fruit, instant mashed potatoes, jell-o, piecrust mix and pie filling, stuffing mix, sweet potatoes, turkey gravy. A $25 grocery store gift card would be appreciated to enable families to purchase a turkey and other perishable items for their meal.
