Adult Literacy Tutor Arlington Heights

Read to Learn Adult Literacy/Volunteer Program: Volunteer tutors work one-to-one with adults to improve basic reading and writing skills. Classes meet for 2.5 hours per week for 10 weeks. Class meets at Forest View Educational Center (FVEC) from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 Noon on Thursdays.

All volunteers must complete training. We are in the process of developing an online training platform. Volunteers will be notified  when the training is availabie. Volunteer tutors must have a high school diploma or a GED and be at least age 18.
