Adult Literacy Tutor Mount Prospect
Read to Learn Adult Literacy/Volunteer Program: Volunteer tutors work one-to-one with adults to improve basic reading and writing skills. Classes meet for 2.5 hours per week for 10 weeks. at the Mount Prospect Public Library from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 Noon on Fridays.
All volunteers must attend training. Our next training session is scheduled for August 24th or August 25th, 2018, from 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m at the Forest View Educational Center in Arlington Heights. Volunteer tutors must have a high school diploma or a GED and be at least age 18. An Orientation will be provided.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+
