TBS Soup Kitchen-Bessie's Table
Bessie's Table of Des Plaines is seeking dining room volunteers (individuals and/or groups up to 15) for their Monday night community dinner program.
Volunteer duties include, but are not limited to: serving, rolling silverware, dishwashing, clean-up and possible light food prep. Volunteer hours are from 4pm-7:15pm every Monday (closed major holidays) and dinner is served from 5:30pm-6:30pm. Closed the month of August.
Volunteers and groups are rotated weekly, so a weekly commitment is not needed. Dining Room volunteers must be 14 years of age or older. Orientation will be provided.
