East Maine School District Family Resource Center Volunteer Opportunities
Expanded Learning is East Maine School District 63's home for out-of-school-time programming. We serve students in our District schools in before school, after school, school breaks, and early dismissal days by providing quality childcare and programming. In addition to Expanded Learning, we also have our Family Resource Center and provide community education sessions to everyone in our community. We hold fitness and wellness classes, English classes, Parent classes, and many more! We would love to engage more volunteers in efforts to continue to provide a well-rounded experience to our community and youth. If you are interested in working a few hours a week to help with homework or projects in our afterschool or before school programs, leading a community education class in your area of expertise, or help to answer phones and direct families at our front desk, we would love to hear from you! We value members of the community that donate their time to help us achieve our goals - we couldn't do it without you! Our before school program is Monday thru Friday from 7am until 9am. Our after school program is Monday thru Friday from 3pm - 6pm, and our community education sessions run throughout the fall, winter, and spring seasons. If you are interested in volunteering with us, we'd be grateful.
