Third Lake Sparrow's Nest Thrift Store Volunteer

Home of the Sparrow provides a shelter, affordable housing and programs and services for area homeless women and children.  We also operate seven Sparrow's Nest Thrift Stores, with all net proceeds directly supporting our programs and services. Volunteers at our thrift stores have a great time and really enjoy making new friends and giving back to the community. The stores are open weekdays from 10 am - 7 pm, and on Saturdays from 10 am - 5 pm. Volunteer duties include accepting and sorting donations, pricing and displaying merchandise, sales assistance, customer service, testing electronics, silk floral arranging, holiday decorating, and so much more. After the first month, volunteers who work a minimum of 4 hours a week receive a 30% discount! To volunteer, please register here to connect with our volunteer coordinator for their application.
