Help High School Students With Disabilities Make Blankets for Animal Shelters
We are recruiting new members for Senior Corps-RSVP, a retired and senior volunteer program for people 55+, to help students at life - The District 214 Transition Program with a service learning project about pet welfare. They are prepping fleece that will be used to by middle school students in Wheeling to make no-sew blankets for local animal shelters and could use your help! Learn more about Senior Corps-RSVP here: https://www.handsonsuburbanchicago.org/rsvp-membership No prior skills necessary. Will mostly consist of helping to measure and cut fleece. Volunteer as little as one hour during the school day. Must be 55 or older to join Senior Corps-RSVP May need to undergo a background check.
