Marklund Philip Center Activity Aide
Volunteers help Marklund make everyday life possible for our residents and students by assisting them with therapeutic, recreational and educational activities, art projects, reading a favorite story, or just being a new face to see during the day. They provide many daily life experiences while freeing up staff to provide 24-hour specialized care. Monday - Thursday: Activities from 5:00p.m.- 6:00p.m. Tuesday & Thursday: Community Outings from 4:00p.m.-6:00p.m. Fridays: Movie Night on campus from 5:30p.m.- 7:00p.m. Weekend: Activities from 10:30a.m.- 11:30a.m. and from 5:00p.m.- 6:00 p.m. Activities include: games with our residents like Bingo, Uno & Yahtzee, playing adapted sports, reading, arts & crafts, and more. Community Outing locations: shopping, movies, bowling, parks, and more.
