About
JOURNEYS | The Road Home is a non-profit agency providing both shelter and social services to the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in north/northwest suburban Cook County. JOURNEYS’ Young Professionals Board (YPB) members are caring and committed young professionals on a mission to encourage philanthropy and volunteerism amongst their peers, while broadening community awareness and involvement with the homeless in our area. YPB members are entrepreneurial, ambitious individuals dedicated to advancing the efforts of JOURNEYS through volunteering, fundraising, networking, and community engagement opportunities.
Join members between the ages of 21-39 and attend exciting fundraising and networking events with JOURNEYS.
Change the story for men, women, and families in 37 communities across our region who need our help.

Membership Expectations
-Set/achieve personal fundraising goals
-Attend 3 of the 4 YPB meetings
-Participate on board committees
-Support and attend YPB fundraising efforts/events
-Attend a JOURNEYS Volunteer Orientation
