Expanded Learning Center Volunteer Club Leader
East Maine School District #63's Expanded Learning seeks volunteer club leaders to support programs for students in their seven schools. • Volunteers should have experience working with students in kindergarten through eighth grade, • Have an outgoing and engaging personality that is supportive of youth needs and interests • Willingness to provide an enrichment activity once or twice per week with another volunteer or staff member of the program. • Able to support homework completion Specific skills we are seeking: • Soccer skills for soccer program • STEAM experience • Sewing experience • Cooking experience • Fitness experience • Leading young age groups through activities • Supporting youth with special needs Hours of the seven programs take place Monday - Friday between 2:30 to 6:00 and Saturday mornings from 9am - 12pm. Seeking volunteers once or twice per week primarily for the after school program hours, early dismissal hour (11 am - 5:30 pm, six times throughout the school year.)
