Are you able to speak Urdu, Hindi and/or Gujarati?
Older Adults and Seniors can use your help! You will work with a Kenneth Young Center clinician or therapist and their clients. Primary tasks include calling clients to see if they have any questions, concerns, or suggestions on their experience with Kenneth Young Center.
If you possess solid organizational and communication skills, are comfortable speaking on the phone, and if you are comfortable working with the Microsoft Office suite of programs, then please contact us.
WE ARE FLEXIBLE in SCHEDULING, so you may help during weekdays' normal business hours. You can plan on helping out anywhere from 2 to 3 hours per week. And, you will know that your efforts are helping us to serve a diverse community with needs that continue to grow.
Volunteers are our backbone. Help us remain strong.
[Kenneth Young Center provides community mental health and senior services to the northwest suburbs. Clients and their families come to us in some of their most desperate moments, and we help by providing:
- Service coordination and in-home services for frail elderly persons.
- Counseling for adults, children, families.
- Assessment, stabilization, linkage for adults/children in psychiatric crisis.
- Treatment, support, and recovery services for those with serious mental illness. Volunteer opportunities.
