Pet Therapy Volunteer
The Center for Enriched Living has a new location in Hoffman Estates. The Center for Enriched Living exists so that people with developmental disabilities can be fully included in the community, achieve personal success, and enjoy a good quality of life. We are looking for a registered pet therapist to bring a therapy dog to our REACH NW program two times or more per month. REACH NW is a year-round day program for adults with developmental disabilities who work part-time, are unemployed, are transitioning into full-time day programming or who want something different from the traditional workshop environment. The program runs Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 3:00pm. REACH NW is designed to give members the opportunity to continue to learn, make new friends, and succeed in having meaningful experiences during the day.
